2. Nature of Products Offered
Through Bizsure, Alpha Direct offers short-term commercial insurance products designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) operating in Botswana. These products include, but are not limited to:
- Building insurance
- Contents and fixtures insurance
- Stock and inventory insurance
- Equipment breakdown cover
- Refrigeration breakdown cover
- Money (cash) cover
- Public liability insurance
- Workman's compensation
- Business interruption insurance
- Business motor vehicle insurance
- Liquor liability insurance
All products are underwritten by Alpha Direct Insurance Co. Alpha Direct does not act as a broker or intermediary — we are the insurer.
3. Remuneration Disclosure
As the licensed insurer, Alpha Direct earns premium income from policies sold through Bizsure. We do not pay or receive brokerage commissions on policies issued through this platform. Our agents and staff are remunerated by salary; no commission is earned by agents on Bizsure transactions.
4. Conflict of Interest Policy
Alpha Direct has adopted a Conflict of Interest Policy in accordance with NBFIRA requirements. Where a conflict of interest is identified, it will be disclosed to you before any transaction is concluded. A copy of our Conflict of Interest Policy is available on request from compliance@alphadirect.co.bw.

7. Financial Soundness
Alpha Direct Insurance Co. maintains capital and solvency margins in accordance with NBFIRA requirements. Our annual financial statements are audited by independent auditors and submitted to NBFIRA. Financial reports are available on request from our registered office.
8. Important Notice
Insurance products described on this platform are subject to terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits set out in the full policy wording. A Certificate of Insurance issued through Bizsure is evidence of cover and should be read in conjunction with the applicable policy wording. The policy wording is available on request. In the event of any conflict between marketing material, a quote, or a certificate and the policy wording, the policy wording shall prevail.
